Introduction

Taipei Tech (National Taipei University of Technology) was established in 1912, and has since produced numerous outstanding alumni who have contributed immeasurably to the economic development and prosperity of Taiwan. Our graduates are the top favorites among Taiwan’s top 1000 enterprises, according to a survey conducted by Cheers magazine. Taipei Tech was ranked No. 1 in a 2013 teaching excellence evaluation executed by the Ministry of Education Taiwan. In both 2012 and 2013, the Ministry of Education Taiwan award Taipei Tech No. 1 Paradigm Technological University for its research and academic excellence. In addition, Taipei Tech is top100 in the Asia University Rankings produced by Times Higher Education (THE) and No.2 in Asia in the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking . Currently, Taipei Tech has six colleges (Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Management, Design, Humanities & Social Sciences), 19 undergraduate programs, and 40 graduate programs. Taipei Tech has the best location in Taipei. The metropolitan campus is located at the center of the Taipei Metro systems (MRT), at the intersection of two major MRT lines.
