Lincoln University is New Zealand’s specialist landbased university and was established as the Southern Hemisphere’s first dedicated agricultural college in 1878. Based in Canterbury, New Zealand, the institution, which became a university in 1990, has forged a strong connection with the land and the productive industries that flow from it. The University is deliberately specialised and is uniquely positioned to work alongside industry, community, and people from around the globe, to answer the biggest questions facing the world today. Lincoln University is ranked in the top 500 by QS World Rankings and ranked in the top 100 in the world for agricultural programmes.
