
Karabük University was founded on May 29, 2007, and quickly became one of Türkiye's leading higher education institutions. Karabük University makes significant contributions to regional and national development by conducting pioneering and impactful studies in education, research and development, social contribution, and internationalization. Karabük University, one of Türkiye's leading international institutions with its science-focused and student-friendly approach, has active Academic and Scientific Cooperation (MoU) agreements with more than 173 universities in 36 countries. Within the scope of these agreements, the University stands out more than 70 projects, jointly involved with various countries and universities. As of 2025, Karabük University will operate on 7 campuses, comprising 2 institutes, 17 faculties, 11 vocational schools, and 17 R&D centers.
