Introduction

Established in 1919 and located in Baku, Azerbaijan, Baku State University is the oldest and largest university in the country, with over 25,000 students, 16 faculties, and a staff of more than 3,000, including professors and teaching personnel. BSU encompasses a Branch, a College, Research Institutes, and a Lyceum, fostering academic excellence, research, and innovation while promoting intercultural dialogue and knowledge exchange. BSU collaborates with over 120 partner universities worldwide and hosts students from more than 40 countries. The university participates in international exchange programs such as Erasmus+ KA 107 and Mevlana, offers more than 12 double degree programs, and hosts international centers including the Confucius Institute, Baku King Sejong Institute, and Kazakh Centre.
