Introduction

Located in Chiayi County in southwestern Taiwan, the National Chung Cheng University (CCU) is best known for its dedication to both the arts and the sciences. Founded in 1989, it is one of Taiwan’s most modern universities, and highly regarded in the country. There are seven Colleges – Humanities, Science, Social Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management and Education – as well as center for advanced manufacturing, telecommunication, System-on-Chip, language studies, teacher education, learning, and general education. CCU has a friendly environment for international students.Our university provides generous scholarship for foreign students covering tuition fee, free on-campus accommodation. The university’s Office of International Affairs (OIA) assists students from abroad with living and studying in Taiwan and local student ambassadors are also on hand to help.
