The University of Warwick is a world-leading campus university, renowned for providing a strong academic challenge. We are 62nd in the QS World University Guide 2020, 9th in The Guardian University Guide 2020, and 3rd for our reputation with the UK’s top 100 employers (The Graduate Market in 2020, High Fliers Ltd.). However, we are much more than this. Warwick is a place that inspires, excites, invigorates and supports. From the moment our first 450 students arrived on the 400-acre campus in 1965, Warwick University has been forward-focused. Today more than 27,000 students thrive across our three faculties, which feature more than 70 research centres and institutes. Those students are drawn from nearly 150 countries, bringing with them their own unique perspectives to enrich our community. Our Faculties – Arts, Social Sciences, and Science, Engineering and Medicine – pioneer and excel. In the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF, 2014), we were ranked 7th among UK Research Universities. In addition, REF ranked 19 departments within the top ten in their unit of assessment for research output, and 87 per cent of our research was classed as ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. Within the classroom, we encourage unbounded learning and versatility of thinking, motivating our students to pursue modules outside of their main department. Life outside study provides our students with experiences that will boost employability and forge connections. Whether you’re a student, lecturer or researcher, by joining our welcoming community, you can pursue your curiosity, embrace new perspectives and achieve your ambitions.
