The students total approximately 11,000 : 35% in undergraduate programs, over 60% in Masters & PhD programs and 5% in Executive education. Over 23% are international students, representing 40 countries. Students are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities through more than 40 student associations on campus and over 30 athletic disciplines. The university hosts six research centers, all within the sector of Decision and Organization Sciences; Management, Law, Economics, Sociology & Political Science, Mathematics & Information Technologies. Paris-Dauphine has developed international relationships with 314 top-ranked universities across the world. The university holds close ties to the business world : internships, apprenticeship contracts and research chairs, corporate partnerships are just a few examples of Paris-Dauphine and the business community working together. In 2009, Paris-Dauphine became the first and the only French university to obtain the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation, which is awarded in recognition of academic excellence.
